These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website huntvantage.com and the HuntVantage tool. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What HuntVantage provides
HuntVantage is an informational scouting tool. It generates a habitat quality score (0–100) and per-species ratings for a map location using publicly available land-cover, terrain, and map data. The scores are estimates intended to help you prioritize where to scout — nothing more.
Informational only — no warranty
The site and its scores are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that scores are accurate, complete, or current, or that any location will hold game. HuntVantage is not a substitute for on-the-ground scouting or official maps.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for hunting legally and safely. Before hunting, you must independently verify current seasons, bag limits, tag and license requirements, weapon restrictions, and the exact boundaries of public and private land with the appropriate state wildlife agency and landowners. HuntVantage does not determine where hunting is legal and is not responsible for trespassing, regulatory violations, or any consequences arising from your use of the site.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HuntVantage and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Third-party data and imagery
HuntVantage uses map data from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL license), satellite and reference imagery from Esri/ArcGIS, and the Leaflet mapping library. That data and imagery remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licenses and terms.
Intellectual property
The HuntVantage name, scoring methodology, written guides, and site design are the property of HuntVantage. You may link to our pages, but please do not copy or republish substantial portions of the site without permission.
External links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
